My Dissertation project set out to design a novel inspection method for dental restoration quality control. It consisted of a proof of principle exploration into the new inspection method by thorough experimentation, then a design exercise which produced the detailed design ready to be manufactured into a functional prototype.

ABOUT ME

I am bright and enthusiastic designer currently studying at Loughborough University. At Loughborough University I am able to indulge in my second love of Lacrosse. I have played for the men's first team for four years, helping build inexperienced athletes to achieve the great success which we have seen.

I am currently a third year engineering student at Loughborough University studying Product Design Engineering (MEng). I spent a year in industry after my second year, between 2011-2012, at Sagentia Ltd. I relished this opportunity to grow and develop my skills, not just as an engineer, but a member as a design team as a whole.

MY WORK

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

My design ethos is based upon an amalgamation of functional core engineering principles with user centered design and aesthetics. My outlook on design is that the function, user interaction, and manufacture of a product are equally important. I feel my degree in Product Design Engineering allows me to develop skills which encompass the whole design cycle to produce attractive and functional real world products.
